CLOSED DIE FORGING

At Weber Metals our closed die forging capabilites are able to meet and
exceed your most challenging project requirements. Our hydraulic presses
range from 3,600 to 33,000 tons, forging aluminum and titanium pieces
weighing up to 4,000 lbs.

Quality Always

Our in-house destructive testing facility offers mechanical testing, micro and macro-structural examinations (including grain flow), and chemical composition verification in accordance with the most recent industry and customer specifications.
Metallurgical testing capabilities include:
• In-house test material removal / machining
• Macro/micro structural prep / etch / evaluation
• Grain flow evaluation
• In-house wet lab
• Tensile testing

OPEN DIE FORGING

At Weber Metals our open die forging capabilities allow our customers flexibility in design. Our hydraulic presses range from 1,200 to 5,000 tons, producing forgings that weigh up to 11,000 lbs.
